I started the group after publishing a book: "What Color is the Wind - a Feel Guide to the Out-of-doors for Parents of Young Children", based on owning and directing The Nature Place Day Camp and my 42 years of introducing children to nature and the magic and wonder to be found there. The purpose of PSNC is to meet in the outdoors and to help parents find ways to connect both parent and child to nearby nature. I am a Holistic Health Coach, wife and mother to two delicious young children (yes, I'm biased). I started my business, Nature Girl Wellness, and this group to share my passion for nutrition, natural remedies and complimentary therapies with other parents and parents-to-be. My wellness workshops are primarily for pre-natal women and families and my specialty area is in special-needs (or "restricted") diets. Join me on this journey of health and wellness for our families and ourselves!
